POSITION: Part-time teaching artist
DIVISION: Young Dancer Division
CATEGORY: Part-time, including Saturdays and/or weekday afternoon or evening hours
PAY RANGE: depending on experience and background
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Teaching Artist position provides ballet instruction for Marin Dance Theatre's Young Dancer Division
(YDD). Position may expand to include preschool outreach creative movement classes with hours on
weekdays during school hours (not required).
Current Young Dancer Division programs include ballet instruction for ages 18 months – 9 years.
Availability to teach at both of our studio locations is required (Main Campus, San Rafael and Corte
Madera Studio).
Looking for an experienced ballet instructor for ages 18mon – 9 years with strong classroom
management skills, a love of working with and inspiring children, and a willingness to be trained in the
MDT Young Dancer Division curriculum.
