Junior A & B - 5-Day Program; 2 weeks
June 16-27, Monday-Friday
These programs are for current Junior 1-3 dancers.
Jr. 1 dancers will be placed in Level A and Jr. 2 & 3 dancers will be
placed in level B. An audition is required if student is not currently enrolled at MDT. Curriculum may include: Technique,
Contemporary, Jazz, Pilates Mat, Conditioning, Pre-Pointe (level B), Musical Theater, Character and Repertoire Rehearsal.

Additional Summer Programs
Junior Performance Workshop
July 21-August 1, Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:00pm – San Rafael Campus

This program is for current Junior 1-3 dancers. This workshop is a wonderful 2-week experience of dance, choreography and
rehearsals culminating in a theater performance with the upper division levels of Marin Dance Theatre. This is a great
option for those Junior dancers who love to perform. Dancers can participate in this workshop on its own or in conjunction
with any other MDT program throughout the summer. The performance will take place at the Novato High School
Performing Arts Center in Novato on Saturday, Aug. 2

Junior Classical Workshop - Swan Lake

August 4-8, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-2:00pm - Corte Madera Studio
This program is for current Junior 2-4 dancers. Our Junior level classical workshop provides an opportunity to enhance your
dancer's training and repertoire while learning about the famous classical ballet,
Swan Lake. Each day will include stretch &
strength and ballet technique class. Dancers will discuss the classical ballet story, watch pieces of company performances
and variations, and learn about stage characterization through performance and technique. Dancers will be exposed to
appropriately modified versions of famous variations danced in the ballet - a first introduction to "variations class." Join us
for this exciting classical workshop opportunity.
For all the above programs, current students are placed by faculty and new students are placed by audition. The above levels will be offered based on enrollment and are subject to change. Participation in Summerfest 2025 is optional but encouraged for the Junior A & B levels and this requires an additional registration in the Performance Workshop.
